A tropical modern home design in hot and humid climate. This villa is designed with deep roof overhangs to keep the rain and sun out. The shaded areas of terraces and balcony were introduced as intermediate zones between the inside and outside spaces for family semi outdoor activities. Large windows and doors are placed in opposite direction to facilitate cross ventilations to keep the house cool during the day and night time. Water features around the house is designed to give a cooling effect for the house. Tropical plants and vegetations were used extensively for sheds and ground protection in the tropics.
